Huh I haven't heard of Bright Eyes before.  I don't get a lot of new music here under my rock.  How long have they been around?  I want to check them out.

Bright Eyes is an indie band from Nebraska and have been around since 90s. Some people liken Oberst's sound to Bob Dylan. While I see some Dylan, I think the band is much more than that. They do some indie electronic tracks too on Digital Ash Digital Urn, I think the band is just into playing around and trying new sounds on their own terms. If you click on the album featured with my article, you only have to scroll down a bit to hear samples from the new album courtesy of Amazon.com. Oberst, the lead, has worked with many members of the indie scene on previous albums. If you like Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service, or Cursive, which is a band on his label, you might want to check Bright Eyes out!
