Swap-o-rama-rama is the freaking sweet idea that you, me, and everyone we know wish we had thought of. Essentially, it is a clothing make-over extravaganza. Here’s how it works. Bring a bag of your own unwanted clothes to donate, then pick through everyone else’s donations and grab some new threads for yourself. Then, take your finds over to the many d.i.y. stations available. Learn how to tailor that t-shirt to fit you perfectly, or go over to the embellishment station and learn how to embroider, knit, or crochet, or (and this is my favorite) hit up the silk screen station. There’s also an iron-on station, and an ongoing fashion show, and clothes story telling, and this one time, at band camp—I’m getting a little carried away here.
