stretch11.gif Yesterday I went back over my blogs and was stroking my own ego at the variety of websites I have brought you. That is, until I realized, much to my chagrin, that there were very few money saving websites! Well that is a wrong I mean to correct right now. Please direct your attention to stretcher.com. Stretcher is a great resource for tips on how to make your dollar go farther. While their homepage is a bit chaotic and unpleasantly cluttered, their articles are stuffed with useful information. For our purposes, I recommend the Natural Living section in particular, located in the index at the bottom of the homepage. There you can find plenty of recipes for homemade insect repellents, cleansers, and health & beauty products. A few of the highlights:

*Re-use the water you’ve boiled your eggs in to water your plants. It’s full of minerals and nutrients.

*Use a sprinkle of cornstarch and a vacuum instead of harsh chemicals as a carpet cleaner.

*Hang an old drawer on the wall as a display box.

They also have ton of other departments, like how to have an affordable wedding, and how to dig yourself out of debt, to name a couple. Each little tip is like money in the bank.
