In my recent wanderings I stumbled across this recipe for home made Ginger Ale. I personally don’t drink carbonated beverages, but this tickled my fancy, especially because its a good way to reuse those litre bottles of soda that everybody always has kicking around. Plus, the website is charmingly nerdy. Written by Professor Fankhauser from U.S. Claremont College in Ohio, it explains the chemical reactions that take place during the making of the ginger ale.
